Catch up!!!

So when I said I was starting this blog, I did say I wasn't sure how good I'd be @ keeping up...and obviously I'm already lagging behind, lol!!  We have done several fun things in the last few weeks and I promise when I have more time I will elaborate more and post some pics as well.  Mason was also sick last week which consumed a good portion of the week.  He is feeling much better now, and is back to his normal self...a quick story from while we were @ the pediatrician's office w/ him...we all went, Matt, Nolan, myself, and, Mason...yep, the whole family.  The pediatrician was going over some things and ruling some things out...Mason had one episode of throwing up, along w/ his fever and othe symptoms, etc...while ruling out the stomach flu, she said he probably would have thrown up quite a bit more, and had diarrhea.  Nolan was sitting in a chair and started to giggle when she said the word "diarrhea".  She looked at him, and said "that is a funny word, diarrhea, isn't it?!"  As soon as she said that, he started singing, "diarrhea, ppphhhhfffftttttt, ppphhhhffffttttt, diarrhea, ppphhhhffffttttt, ppphhhhffffttttt"....yes, fart noises and all!!!  She continued looking at him, w/ a half smirk on her face and said, "oh yes, I have middle school boys, I know that song..."and he, of course, saw this as encouragement to keep singing...well, Matt and I were cracking up, what else can you do?!  My face was as red as my shirt at the time...not only b/c he was singing the song...but b/c then Matt decided to tell Nolan to make sure he told her that if he was going to sing the song that he needed to tell her where he learned it...yep, from Mommy...so busted, thanks Matt!!!  I'll remember that one...so, then she was looking at me now...I felt the need to try and explain...well, I was changing a really dirty diaper and that's just what came out of my mouth.  She told me, "usually it's the Dad's who teaches the kids those songs, not the Mom's...but okay."  I promise, I really am a great Mother!!!
