Well, when I started this blog I knew I'd be guilty of not keeping up w/ it @ times...and that seems to be the case:) I was so proud of myself for getting it up and running, and now we have been so busy that I haven't had any time to keep it current and I apologize!!! Now that summer is here we have been running non-stop, and seem to be gone all the time...our yard work falls behind, our house is a mess, and the laundry seems to pile up...but we are having a blast!!! Matt is on two softball leagues on Tuesday and Thursday nights and the boys and I try to go to his games as often as we can. The boys love to go, and play w/ their little friends at the games. We have made several trips to the zoo, the park, Millenium Park...which is a beach/splash pad area, the Air Zoo, and also Fredrick Meijer Gardens, which has many outdoor kids activities. We play in the yard often, and Nolan loves to run through the sprinkler!!! Mason is a little afraid of the cold water coming out of the hose still:) We also made a recent weekend trip up to Petoskey because Matt had a softball tournament. We had a great time, but the tournament ended up getting rained out. Because Matt had extra time off, we ended the bad weather weekend w/ a night @ Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. The kids LOVED it, and Matt and I had fun also!!! One of the benefits of the water park is that they allow alcoholic beverages within the water park, lol!! We also took turns hanging out w/ the kids in the kiddy play area while each of us played on the bigger water slides!! We have also visited "Nonnie's farm", the horse farm where my Mom works, and got to see all of the baby horses and all of the bigger horses. Nolan's dream some day is to own a farm of his own, lol:)!! We have had a busy summer so far w/ friends, and family, and life is good!!! Last weekend I was also able to get away w/ my sister-in-law Beth, and a couple of friends to Traverse City for a girl's night of wine touring and tasting!!! The tour was called "Diva's Uncorked," and it was an absolute blast! It was a much needed night of fun girl time away from the kiddo's...something I don't get very often...thank you so much to my wonderful hubby for not minding;)!! I will try to do a better job at keeping this blog more up to date...now it's to the point that I have so many pic's that I don't know where to start, lol!!!
