Keeping up with the Kennedy Clan: October 2011

Well, obviously it has been WAY TOO LONG since my last post...I got behind and then just kept postponing any updates, lol!!!! Quite a bit has gone on in the last few months as I'm sure most of you know...Charlie Miles Kennedy was born on July 13th...so hard to believe that much time has already gone by and that he is already 3 1/2 months old!!!! Nolan and Mason absolutely adore him and have been great helpers w/ little Charlie. They don't want to go anywhere w/out him, or w/out each other for that matter. Although they have their moments w/ each other, they really get along quite well and I'm looking forward to seeing Charlie continue to bond with them both!!!
Mason has been potty trained for over 4 months now...which means he was potty trained at 2 years 4 months...he wore pull ups at night for about a week, but we quickly learned he didn't need them. He has become such a big boy and has such a sweet, loving, funny personality!!!! He can be quite naughty sometimes, but he's so cute that even when he is it's definitely hard to stay mad at him, lol!!! He is a little devious at times, but his little puppy dog eyes tend to work in his favor:)!!! He loves to give kisses and snuggle, and is always telling myself, Matt, Nolan, and Charlie how much he loves us!!! He tries so hard to be like his older brother, and has to do EVERYTHING that Nolan does! He is soooo looking forward to school next year as well as participating in some sort of sport.
Nolan started 4 year old preschool last month and goes 4 half days a week. It's really great to see how much he loves school and seems to have come out of his shell a bit in comparison to last year. He loves going, and on the days he is off he is counting down the days till he goes back!!! He is obsessed with numbers lately, and is constantly talking about them. It seems to have paid off because they just recently tested him at school and he tested at an 8 year old level for math!!! We are so proud of him and his eagerness to learn! He also played fall AYSO soccer for the first time which proved to be quite entertaining:) He absolutely loved it, and can't wait for the spring session to start!!
Charlie has continued to grow and change, and is getting huge already...he is growing up too fast!!! He has had such a good temperament, and has been such an easy baby. He is smiling and giggling all the time, and seems to love watching his brothers play and carry on!!! He eats all the time and weighed almost 14lbs at his 2 month check up...if I had to guess I'd say he's probably close to 16 pounds now! He is definitely a growing baby!!! He can roll from his tummy to his back, but has not yet found an interest to roll from his back to his tummy. He is such a snuggler and loves to be cuddled...although it's much harder to do when there are always two other little people always wanting to be entertained as well!!!
In September Matt and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary...we went to Manistee and Traverse City, did some gambling, and some wine tasting. We had a blast!!! It's really hard to believe we've been married 8 years already...I can't imagine spending my life any other way...Matt and the boys are truly the highlight of my life!!!! The boys are a constant reminder to both of us to always appreciate the LITTLE things in life!!!!
I am going to do my best to continue updating and posting pics, I will try to update at least once a week...otherwise every other week;)
